How to use highlighter for beginners and the bronzer blush on face

Let's start with a simple definition of what blush is. Sometimes compared to bronzer. blush to designed to add color to the skin butter, unlike bronzer. blush to designed to create a rosy look, while the bronzer to meant to give a tanned, sun-kissed look. As we always suggest, to get the best results with your makeup. The simple fact is if you want it to look good, take care of it. Cleanse, hydrate, and stay hydrated (by drinking plenty of water). The basics matter.

It's important to choose the right blush for your skin tone. But how to choose?

Have you heard of the cheek pinch test?

pinch your cheeks (not too hard) and see what color they go. This is your natural blush color. Try to match it with the blush you choose.

If you don't want to do this, then some general rules are:

For pale skin, use pale pinks and lilacs

For fair to medium skin, use peachy pink shades

For golden or olive skin, try lighter pink

For darker skin, try lighter tones like apricot.

And then, of course, you need to choose the right blush for your skin type. If you have oily skin, try a face stain. Apply a little bit at a time as too much makes it difficult to blend. If you have combination or normal skin, then a cream blush would be a good choice and if you have dry skin, go for powder.

Assuming you have everything under control, let's get started. You may want to start by using a primer on your skin. This helps ensure that your makeup stays on the way you want it to throughout the day. There's no point spending time on it if your results don't last!

Applying blush is not the same for everyone. Blush to meant to stress your facial features and where/how you apply it depends on your face shape.

We can divide these shapes into the following groups:

For heart-shaped cheeks, apply blush to the outer corner of the cheekbones. starting at the ear and ending below the outer corner of the eye. Add a little at the temples and in the center of the forehead.

For oval faces, apply the blush by swiping across the cheekbones. but do it above them, not below them in the hollow that to created when you suck in the cheeks.

For round cheeks, use a matte blush and apply from the ear, down the cheekbones, and towards the mouth. Add some to the chin to create the illusion of a longer face.

Square faces should have blush applied below the cheekbones to help define them. and separate them from the jawline. Also, apply it to your hairline to soften the edges of your face Triangular faces must apply to the cheekbones. and to the center of the forehead. Do this by brushing your forehead from the cheekbones to the temple and then to the forehead.

For long cheeks, keep the blush centered on the cheekbones below the outer eyes. and avoid applying it under the nose.

This basic guide should be the perfect place to start. and will provide you with the building blocks to help you become qualified. As with anything, practice makes perfect.
